    Good

Close to the hospital I needed to attend.

No amenities - no weight room, pool.

    Fabulous

We liked the location of the hotel, within walking distance of downtown Seattle and our daughter's school, Seattle U. We also enjoyed the quaintness of the hotel - the old style. The Rhododendrom restaurant had good food at a reasonable price - enjoyed the ambience. There were also the options of the Four Seasons Cafe and Tully's Coffee nearby. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were especially courteous and helpful.

Elevator was slow. Our key cards kept demagnetizing.

    Fabulous

It was most reasonably priced location close to downtown.

Room was on the north side and looked directly at Virginia Mason Hospital. That was OK, but the large air fans on between the two building on the first floor ran continuously all night.

    Exceptional

I like to stay at the Inn because it is very close to my medical professionals! It's a safe place to stay and everyone is very friendly. The rooms are clean and roomy!

The only thing I didn't like is that there isn't a hairdryer or iron/ironing board in the rooms. Other than that, the rooms are great!

    Exceptional

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were excellent and the location - once we found it, was great. We could walk down to Pike market in 15minutes, not so easy coming back as it is uphill all the way.

Pleasant - small - quiet - comfortable - within walking distance to neighborhood shopping and restaurants. Quite nice. Would return.

    Blankets in bed too lightweight.

    Superb

My husband had surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital. I loved how the Inn was connected to the hospital and I felt safe going back and forth by myself and even at night. Good location and dining located within walking distance.

    Fabulous

My wife was in surgery. The location could not have been more perfect! The food at the Rododendron was very good and reasonably priced. The music was quite and relaxing and was just what I needed given my situation.

The only thing I would say is that there was some paint on the celling of the batroom that was comming off.

    Fabulous

This little boutique hotel is the place I usually stay when I stop in Seattle on my way west. I enjoy the atmosphere and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. This time, unfortunately, my room was next to people who talked almost non-stop from the time they returned to their room in the evening until 2 or 3 in the morning. I did not asked to be moved to another room, but on checking out, the very kind front desk clerk told me that I should have done so, so it was all partly my fault. I kept thinking that they would leave or that the next night it would be different. In any case, this is the first time I ever heard anyone talking in an adjacent room and I have stayed there at least ten times. Overall, I recommend the Inn at Virginia Mason as a very charming boutique hotel within 5 minutes walk to the downtown Hilton, where you can catch the Airport Downtowner to SeaTac Airport.

    Fabulous

Location and convient for family during hospital stay at Virginia Mason.. Note Virginia Mason Hospital has been voted the Number One Hospital in the USA.. I highly recommend VMH for any specialty Medical need.. They have the best of the best medical staff. It was so convient to rest the night before a surgery appointment at six am to just awake and walk to the check-in...I live 3 hours away and how wonderful to to be there and ready so early in the am. Highly recommend the R. restuarant as well delicous food and the most friendly helpful staff as well.
